I find it fitting that construction companies cemented three out of the Top 5 2021 Training Top 100 rankings (#2 MasTec Utility Services, #3 Haskell, and #5 Rosendin) in this first of four newly redesigned 2021 print issues of Training magazine. United Wholesale Mortgage climbed up to the #1 spot on the Training Top 100 (rebranded this year from the Top 125) for the first time, while C&A Industries, a Medical Solutions Company, took #4.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Some 16 new organizations broke into the Top 100 this year. And four organizations were inducted into the Training Top 100 Hall of Fame: BNSF Railway, Dollar General Corporation, Nationwide, and Sonic Automotive (see p. 78).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

A few Training Top 100 statistics: The mean revenue for Training Top 100 applicants was $6.4 billion U.S. and $8.2 billion worldwide. Representing 5.24 percent of payroll, the mean training budget was $16.2 million. The mean number of employees trained was 18,702. On the evaluation side, 86 percent of applicants utilize Return on Value; 92 percent utilize Return on Investment; 80 percent utilize Balanced Scorecard; and 69 percent use Six Sigma. The Kirkpatrick Levels of Evaluation are more widely used to measure training effectiveness: 99 percent use Levels 1-3; and 97 percent utilize Level 4.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In addition to the the 2021 rankings, this issue contains details on the 2021 Training Top 100 Best Practice and Outstanding Training Initiative Award winners.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
